MILLER-VALENTINE GROUP TO BUILD LUXURY APARTMENT COMMUNITY IN ADA, MICHIGAN
Apartment community located in premier school district, convenient to downtown Grand Rapids Dayton, Ohio (February 1, 2008) – MV Residential Development, a division of Miller-Valentine Group, has begun work on Stone Falls of Ada, a luxury rental community located on Spaulding Road in Ada Township. The 210-unit luxury apartment community is slated for completion in Spring 2009.
Kevin Hogan, Senior Developer of MV Residential Development, said that the development site is particularly attractive because of its proximity to the top-rated Forest Hills Public School system, and to downtown Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids International Airport, I-96, and the new southern connector highway M1 and M2.
“We see this as an exciting development for Ada Township because it marks the completion of Clements Mills, a family-oriented master plan community offering single family homes, and ranch and townhome condominiums,” said Hogan. “Stone Falls of Ada is the first luxury apartment community of its kind in the area because it has been designed to feel more like a condominium development than a traditional rental property. We took great care in creating a community with a warm, convenient, friendly living environment for our residents.”
Stone Falls of Ada offers residents a choice of one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans, ranging in size from 743 square feet to 1,460 square feet. All units are equipped with attached garages and private entrances. Additional amenities include 9-foot ceilings, crown molding, large walk-in closets, patios/balconies, and modern kitchens. Community features include a grand waterfall entrance feature, walking and bike trail throughout the property, as well as a Clubhouse equipped with a 24-hour fitness center, swimming pool, business center, community center, tanning center and theater room.
Stone Falls of Ada is a joint venture between Miller-Valentine Group and Boston-based CrossHarbor Capital Partners, LLC, which committed $66 million of equity to jointly develop over $450 million of luxury apartment communities throughout the United States, with a primary focus in the Midwest and Southeast over the next three years.
