MILLER-VALENTINE GROUP REPORTS SUCCESS IN FEDERAL HOUSING PROGRAM
Dayton, Ohio (January 22, 2008) – MV Residential, a division of Miller-Valentine Group, is on track to complete seven affordable housing developments in 2008, using the federal housing credit program.
Housing credit homes provide quality housing for individuals of low to moderate incomes. The federal housing credit program awards tax credits to developers, like Miller-Valentine Group, for the acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction of affordable rental housing.
“MV Residential is proud to offer quality affordable housing,” said Brian McGeady, Director of Multi-Family Development for Miller-Valentine Group. “Affordable places for people to live are an essential part of the overall fabric of all communities. MV Residential designs and builds single-family homes and multi-family apartments using the highest quality and construction standards. Everyone should be able to live in quality housing, regardless of whether they can afford market-rate rent.”
Miller-Valentine has directed the detailed processes of housing credit development for over 15 years including securing the financing to building, designing, and maintaining the properties.
