Nation's Second Largest Wine & Spirits Distributor
Locates New Headquarters in Lexington County Industrial Park

Columbia, SC-- Miller-Valentine Group has announced ground breaking on a state-of-the-art 206,500sq.ft. distribution facility in the Lexington County Industrial Park located on Hwy 321 near I-26 and I-77 for the nation's second largest wine and spirits distributor, Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC).

The new South Carolina headquarters for RNDC will replace their old facility currently located on Hwy 321. The new building will include 20,000sq.ft. of office, conference and training space, as well as the latest in distribution and logistics technology. The addition of RNDC's facility to Lexington County Industrial Park, marks the third Class "A" distribution building Miller-Valentine has developed and/or constructed in the park within the last year. "We are thrilled with RNDC's decision to locate their distribution facility alongside such companies as Home Depot, Husqvarna and JanPak. The presence of these high caliber companies not only creates much needed jobs and investment, but also lends further credibility to our region as a major hub of distribution in the Southeast" said Derek Mathis, developer with Miller Valentine Group.

The new distribution center will be operational in September 2010. "Timing is a critical component of this project as RNDC needs to be fully operational prior to their busy holiday season. Equipped with an intimate knowledge of Lexington County Industrial Park and a wealth of similar project experience, Miller-Valentine Group is confident regarding our ability to deliver this high quality facility within the schedule established by our client" said Mathis.
