Miller-Valentine Group breaks ground on a 72,000-square-foot office building and warehouse for corporate incentive provider, Links Unlimited.
The company will invest about $4 million in the project, meant to help it expand its business of providing premium branded golf, sporting goods, electronics and apparel as part of corporate incentive programs.
Links will move its 29 employees from Queensgate to the new building at 1460 Seymour Avenue in the TechSolve business park, land formerly owned by the city of Cincinnati. The company will add another 10 jobs over the next five years.
The state of Ohio and city of Cincinnati have provided job creation tax credits to the company in exchange for its commitment to staying within the city.
Miller-Valentine will construct the building according to the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards. When the certification is complete, the city will then provide Links with an additional tax abatement.
