Miller-Valentine Group Sells Class “A” Spec Industrial Building in Orangeburg
December 12, 2011 - Miller-Valentine Group is pleased to announce the sale of their 150,000 SF Class “A” industrial building, located in Orangeburg County/City Industrial Park, to GKN Aerospace. This transaction was made possible through a collaboration between the city, county, state, and Miller-Valentine Group.
Miller-Valentine is scheduled to complete the fit-up for GKN Aerospace’s manufacturing and office requirement by the second half of 2012. Ultimately, GKN Aerospace will have a $38 million capital investment and bring between 250-300 full-time jobs to Orangeburg.
“Miller-Valentine’s investment in the speculative industrial building provided the catalyst to make this transaction possible” said, Gregg Robinson, director of Orangeburg County Development Commission (OCDC).
