Miller-Valentine Group Completes Industrial Renovation for Interstate Resources, Inc.
January 25, 2012 - Miller-Valentine Group recently completed Design/Build renovations to an existing office and industrial facility located in Lexington County. The once vacant, 183,000 SF building has been transformed into a state-of-art corrugated packaging facility for Interstate Container, a business unit of Interstate Resources, Inc., headquartered in Arlington, VA.
The newly renovated facility manufactures Greencoat™, a 100% recyclable, corrugated packaging product used for items such as meats, fresh produce, and floral products. The Columbia, SC facility is one of two locations that account for 100% of the company’s production of Greencoat™ wax replacement boxes.
Miller-Valentine Group’s Design/Build team worked closely with Interstate Container to complete the industrial renovation on time and within budget. “The professionalism of the entire Miller-Valentine team, their attention to detail, and the standards that they hold themselves and their team members to are second to none.
